Lockers
Need a place to drop off your heavy textbooks and keep your lunch? The Wade King Rec Center has lockers available to rent by the quarter or by the year. The Rec Center also has free lockers for day use only. Learn more about the Rec Center lockers.
Microwaves
Need a place to heat up your lunch? The WHOLE food pantry and the Basic Needs hub on the 4th floor of the Viking Union have microwaves for anyone to use.
Community Kitchen
Need to cook some food or put something in the refrigerator? Alma Clark Glass Hall has a community kitchen, open to everyone, in ACG 440.
WHOLE Food Pantry
Western’s Associated Students runs a food pantry for the purpose of providing a meal for students when they are on campus and cannot afford to buy one. The pantry is open to all in need and is located on the 4th floor of the Viking Union.
Lounge Areas
Need a place to go relax? Check out the Miller Hall Collaborative Space, Wilson Library and Zoe’s Coffee, The Underground Coffee House, the Sky Bridge in Academic West and the Viking Union and Arntzen Hall dining areas.
Computer Labs
Western has computer labs in 6 buildings on campus. Lab locations and hours.
Lactation Stations
Western strongly supports employees and students who are nursing mothers, and understands the need for a private, secure and clean space to express milk or nurse.
Family Study Space
In Haggard Hall 350, parents who need a place to study or hang out on campus with their children, can go to this family friendly space without worrying about disturbing others.
